Malaysian Allied Health Science Academy (MAHSA) is aiming to create a world-class private Healthcare Institution for both Medical and Surgical treatment while providing quality education that emphasises on training highly skilled professionals with experienced and dedicated doctors.
The project did not specified BIM as a requirement contractually. However, the Main Contractor initiated the idea for the usage of BIM in their live project and Hyperion Projects is tasked as the BIM Consultant.
We recognise that the majority of the BIM Coordination, especially within Healthcare Industry, is heavier on LOD 400 Mechanical and Electrical Services. While Nominated Sub-Contractors (NSC) was awaiting to be on-board, we performed a thorough design coordination at LOD 300 with the consultants before they potentially become an issue onsite.
With the ceiling ‘stripped’ to its core, the arrangement and coordination of the M&E services through the BIM Model can help facilitates collaboration among all trade specialists.
We also simulated the ‘4 Weeks Lookahead’ Reinforced Concrete works based on the Construction Programme for the ease of all project stakeholders to visualise the construction virtually.
