Air Trunk

PROJECT INFORMATION

Air Trunk

Air Trunk is investing its Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) hyperscale data centre in Malaysia and Johor Bahru has been chosen as its strategic location to service domestic and international demand as technology hub with an end-to-end connection strategy. As any other Data Centre projects in Malaysia, Air Trunk is also implementing BIM in their work processes, and Hyperion Projects is chosen as the BIM Consultant under subcontractor for the processes of LOD 400 and LOD 500.

Air Trunk isn’t shy from implementing innovations in this project. With state-of-the-art facilities that implemented AI in its design and liquid cooling technology, notwithstanding being the first data centre that runs on renewable energy as part of Malaysia’s Corporate Green Power Programme, we recognised that the coordination will be difficult with such high-density elements being compacted into the buildings.

In response to those these innovations, all information are required to be produced directly from the BIM tool software itself, and the Level of Information within the project is on par with its Level of Details, which means the supports, the hook up information has to be modelled to ensure sufficient space for second fix installation at site.

With Hyperion Projects, we are entrusted to provide complete solutions ensure designers and contractors make better decision prior to construction. Thus, improving the construction processes effectively and efficiently.
